Engineering, Aerospace and Sciences

We deal with the properties of the approximation of the Stokes equation which leads to the linear system Ax=b We investigate the preconditioners of Block Diagonal, Upper Block Triangular, Lower Block Triangular and the Incomplete LU factorization preconditioner; Wathen and Silvester, Elman and Silvester, Grad-Div stabilization and Artificial Compressibility type. We also study the Simple, Simplic and Simpler preconditioners. We show the dependence of the condition number on the mesh size both on tables and graphs.
