ICNPAA 2010: Mathematical Problems in
Engineering, Aerospace and Sciences

The problem of existence, non-existence, uniqueness, asymptotic behaviour, determination or numeric approximation of solutions for the Lane-Emden-Fowler type problems plays an important role in the scientific community, especially from the point of view of the fact that a significant number of processes from applied sciences are modelled by them, and general development provides us with new perspectives and research ways. This article improves the results achieved so far for some problems studied by the author during his PhD training as well as by other researchers from the scientific community.
