Abstract

The paper presents the analysis of forced convective heat transfer in a flow through a curved channel filled with porous matrix using a most general model of Darcy-Forcheimmer-Brinkman. A homotopy-based method is employed in order to arrive at the solution for the governing nonlinear equation with an assured convergence. Darcy and Brinkman model is recovered as a limiting case of the study. The Nusselt number is calculated for different values of the parameters involved, namely, curvature parameter, Darcy number, Brinkman number and Forcheimmer number.
